By Nikola Djukich
Nikola Djukich is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans photography, drawing, performance, and collage. Deeply rooted in self-portraiture and symbolism, his work explores identity, mythology, and the queer body through experimental visual forms. With a background in graphic design and theatre, Djukich merges poetic imagery and performative stillness, creating layered narratives that oscillate between vulnerability and strength. His collage work, both visceral and mythic, draws from personal archives and collective memory, often reconstructing the body as a site of transformation. He has exhibited internationally and continues to evolve a distinctive visual language grounded in queer experience and self-reflection.
